One food that you will find at almost place you go to eat in Spain is called Tortilla Espaniola. A Tortilla Espaniola is a Spanish potato omelette. The best ones are usually cooked in olive oil and form a cake like shape. Another very popular traditional food is called Gazpacho or salmorejo. Gazpacho is a cold tomato soup that is normally served as an appitizer. It is thick and made of blended tomatoes and other vegetables and herbs. Cured meats are always very popular and common in each meal in Spain. This includes ham (jamon), chorizo, and salchichon. Jamon is pork and Chorizo is a spicy meat that is ground up sausage that is red pepper colored. Beans and legumes are very popular in Spain. The use the beans in lots of different ways and use them to make bean stews. Flan is also a common dessert in Spain and it is a custard like food.

Spanish RiceThere is also a certain type of rice considered "Spanish rice". Eating Rice is pretty common with a lot of Spanish Meals. Here is a recipe for Spanish

In Spain there is also a certain style of eating called Tapas. Tapas, traditionally in Spain,  is eating different types of appetizers with different tastes, but only eating small portions. It is just a wide assortment of different Spanish foods.
