One festival in Seville, Spain is called Feria de Sevilla. This festival is very joyful with a lo of food, drinking, music, and dancing. It is typical for there too be a lot of cured ham, sausage, and plenty of seafood too! The most common drink at the festival is Spanish Sherry wine. This is very common in Southern Spain and is said to help battle the heat in Sevilla in April. They mix the wine with sprite to create a drink the call rebujito. In the afternoons of the festival there are lots of bullfights which are not to be missed! There are also lots of horse parades with very decorated carriages. The festival celebrates Flamenco which has to do with the traditions and culture of Seville.
Another Spanish food festival is one in October called Fiesta de la Butifarra. A butifarra is a type of sausage that is made from pork and different types of spices. The people who live in a town called Saint Joan like this sausage so much that they hold a festival all for it. There is a lot of Butifarra served, plus drinking and dancing!
